Glitter Sniffer Cosmetics
Opening Video Here
Swatches from left to right:
Wicked Witch
Love Struck
Little Lamb
Zombie Girl
Unicorn
Delirious
Masqerade (she forgot how to spell apparently)
Tear Drops
I made this purchase on a whim- I didnt research the company before hand or wait any amount of time before I made a purchase. I forget where I actually found Glitter Sniffer but I decided to purchase when she advertised 5/$15- I thought this was such an amazing deal. I should have known something was wrong with this company when she was selling through her Facebook and sending invoices through email instead of Artfire or Etsy. I ordered two sets of 5 so 10 total- in my instructions I did ask for bright colors- no neutrals. It took me about a month to receive my purchase. I ordered on March 5th, paid through Invoice on March 6th, received a shipping notification on March 20th. I finally received my package unharmed. Many people did report problems with their packages 'exploding' in the mail. Others had reported that their eyeshadows were gritty and her swatches also looked gritty. Everything was okay with my eyeshadows. I still have yet to actually wear them on my eyes just out of pure laziness on my part.
I will not order from this company ever again, currently she is shut down out of business but if she comes back in the future I will never order again. She has horrible customer service, possibly unsanitary production, recalled pigments and a whole mess of other things (for more info visit this link)
I will say overall she has beautiful colors with high pigmentation and glitter content. I did receive a brown shade called Santa Fe' that I personally can not stand because it is dark matte brown and dry appearing. If you would like this eyeshadow feel free to message me on Facebook and I will send it your way- only ask that you pay shipping if you want it.

I've been slacking!
Pardon my horrible slacking when it comes to my posting with colors and swatches- I seem to have LOST my digital camera since the last post- I hope to some day find it laying in front of my face in this house of mine.
So here I am....trying to catch up on my Aromaleigh swatches. Small confession.....these are just colors I've recently acquired since February...yes, I know I have problems, and tonight- I have come to that realization.
Omg I looooove colors :-]
So I did 31 colors and swatches.
From top to bottom (not including the side swatches)
Row 1: paranoia (glitter), twinkling lights, ringoffire, flying flower, cool it, trainwreck, trillium, flutura's cloud, shadowplay, dawnbright (shimmer)
Row 2: expelliarmus, retrograde, event horizon, wave length, anake, obliviate, neptune, the wrong alice, phoebe, riddikulus
Row 3: tangled tinsel, severnia, socialite, rebel rebel (glitter), aphrodite (glitter) (thanks for these 5 from Lisa N.) Oops shade of darkish green when applied, Oops shade of blackish purple, lillith, delilah (glitter), scylla (glitter), permafrost (glitter), twilight sparkle (thanks for these 5 from Jennifer R.)
Row 4: eros, dolphin, little craving, lagoon, velvet dream, sage, tanaquil, times square, magnolia, kiss
Side Row (all Oops colors) ordered from left to right top to bottom (these are descriptions of when applied, not what you see in the bag): brown/red, dark bronze, tan/gold, bronze, peach, brown, tan, cranberry, blue/green all of these Oops colors are full of glitter and sparkle
The pictures were taken with my webcam which is decent, but really just can't do it justice. I tried to take the pics in the best lighting I could though- so the color is fairly good in the pictures.
I am totally willing to part with some of these, even though I love colors and glitter, I just don't do neutrals!
My favorite picks from these: Flying flower, Trillium, tangled tinsel, Flutura's cloud, severnia I have to say, alllllll of the ones in the second row are absolutely to die for which is why I specifically ordered full size jars of them
(PS- all of these swatches were put over Pixie Epoxy from Fyrinnae)

Glamour Doll Eyes Swatches!
So I got my order today from Glamour Doll Eyes! I've swatched these once again....and as a side note, swatching is kinda messy! Lol
There samples are pretty small, they seem like maybe 1/4- 1/2 of a tsp. I guess I can probably get a few uses from these. I ordered 8 of their samples, they also give you 2 samples for free. A friend of mine also got some samples from Glamour Doll, and I just wanted to add that there Holly Wood glitter looks strangely similar to the Holla Glitter from TKB. The rest of the samples look pretty original. I like the colors, they seem to be pretty vibrant. Honestly I actually had a bit of a hard time getting them off when I went to go clean up before bed. I had to scrub them off with a wash rag. The glitters were off course harder to get off considering the base. I still had glitter all over my arms!
I swatched the glitters and shadows I got from Glamour Doll Eyes. I ordered 5 glitters...the order of the glitter swatches is as follows: Rave, Techno, Fierce, Glowstick and Hot Mess. These were put on with Pixie Epoxy as a base. The shadows are as follows: Melancholy, Pinky Swear, Ladies Night, Immature, Electric Lemonade (Free) and Phyrra (free). These are kind of hard to see with or without flash on my camera, so apologies! Overall I’m totally in love with the glitters, because well…who wouldn’t be! I’m considering ordering some full size jars, but I haven’t decided 100% just yet. Glamour Doll Eyes does seem to have a nice selection of colors and uses for their shades. All of the ones listed above are lip/eye/face safe. A side note on that- for some reason these are coming with a little sticker on them and they just say ‘lip safe’ so it really had me confused wondering if they weren’t eye safe, but the website does indeed list them as being eye safe.
I’m still waiting on one more order to come in now…I ordered from Hi-Fi cosmetics on Dec 29th, this is taking forever. She does have on her site still that it takes 12-15 Business days…I finally got some communication today though. I have been waiting for a response to make sure my order is in process…. I’m not at all sure how I feel about this taking so long though. I sure hope that these eye shadows are worth the wait. I feel like if I’m giving you my money I should receive some form of communication or updates on my order. I don’t want to be too demanding because I understand holiday rush, but this wait just feels kind of extensive. Hopefully I will be getting my order soon.
I’m totally a junkie for eyeshadow!!!!
I also wanted to share these...These photos are from TKB's Indian Blue. I put Pixie Epoxy on first and wore this color for the day. The shadow last a long time! Again, I had to take this one off with the wash rag.

TKB Swatches!
Finally got some new pigments today! I ordered from TKB Trading a few days ago...got the samples of micas (10 for $14) and some glitter samples. They are so NOT stingy with their samples! I love the glitter samples the most because they come in these wonderful sifter jars! They are HUGE jars and they've got a fair amount of glitter in them. I did some swatches just in case anyone was wanting to see. The glitter swatches didn't show up so well, but they are there and they are pretty! I ordered the Gold, Holla, Blue and Purple. I can't wait to actually wear these with some eye shadow or even alone. I also ordered the random samples of micas- I ended up receiving one that wasn't safe for eyes (my own fault because I didn't ask for only eye safe). The colors are pretty, though a little plain for my taste. I've labeled them in the picture, but I'll list them here too. I received Soft Blue Violet, Lovely Leo, Indian Blue, Mermaids Gold, Artisan Coral, Black Amethyst, Black Cherry, Blackster Red, Pearl Pink (not eye safe!!!) and Blue Ice. Not really my flavor of eye shadows, but pretty gorgeous none the less. (Note: I didn't use any base primer under these swatches)
Overall TKB seems to be pretty awesome with their prices and they give generous amounts on their samples. :) I will definitely be ordering some full size jars for them, even though their samples are plenty enough for the average person... btw, all of the mica samples I got were 2 tablespoons in a baggie.
I'm still waiting on two more orders that I placed with other companies. I ordered some samples from Glamour Doll Eyes. They should hopefully be here tomorrow...There samples seem to be pretty cheap too, but a friend of mine at work also got some samples and they aren't very big...they are maybe 1/4 tsp. They also don't charge shipping for their samples so thats a plus. There glitters also don't seem to stick so well to the skin. Guess I'll find out for myself tomorrow when mine arrive, and I'll be posting another blog with swatches.
I'm also expecting an order to come through from Hi Fi Cosmetics.... I'm also thrilled to be getting these, I ordered 10 full size jars for $35. The processing time is currently driving me crazy though and I haven't been able to find out if they have shipped yet. I ordered on Dec 29th and haven't received any communication about the status or anything. The owner does have information posted on her etsy and facebook that she is kind of behind on processing which is understandable, but this seems to be taking foooorever!!!! I hope hope hope I get these soon because I'm getting anxious!

My first run with Pixie Epoxy
So, I'm still somewhat new to the pigments world....I just discovered them in the last two years or so. I've always loved bright colors and in just regular shadow you really don't have much selection. I love wet application, it makes the colors so bright and vibrant like they look in their containers. I just started using a base (primer) within the last few months, my first purchase of primer was from Mark (Avon). It's call Please Hold Eye Primer...I didn't have so much success with it. I never really noticed a difference in using that versus using nothing. So my pigment collection so far consist of MAC, Aromaleigh and Micabella. Yesterday I wore a bright green MAC and a dark green from Aromaleigh, and even though MAC is the more expensive choice, the Aromaleigh actually lasted quite a long time- this was with no primer. The MAC came off wayyy before I went to bed, and the Aromaleigh was still on when I woke up this morning! (yes, I'm a bad girl that doesn't take her make up off before going to bed)
So a good friend from work who is equally as crazy as I am when it comes to eye shadow (okay, she's more crazy than I am!) gave me her sample of Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy! Thanks Molotov Cupcake! Today I decided to use that before work to see what the results would be....and let me just say that I am SOLD! My make up is still on. I applied my make up this morning around 11:30 and it is currently 12:27...its still just as bright as when I initially put it on. I'm going to attach some photos to show how long lasting it is. Silly me, I didn't take a picture this morning after I put it on, but I promise you I'm not lying! I've always loved Fyrinnae's website but haven't had the chance to purchase anything just yet...but tomorrow...oh yes, tomorrow is pay day! Pixie Epoxy here I come!
On their site Fyrinnae says that Pixie Epoxy is "'A must-have for shimmery, sparkling shadows! This is not an eye shadow primer, or really a base. It is to keep sparkles on or to make shimmery shadows appear "glossy": a foiled look without foiling.'" I would just like to add that it does in fact hold on regular pigments without the shiny/shimmer look.
I have also found in the past that Aromaleigh has a lot of fall out, though they have beautiful colors and a great product, it simply gets everywhere! The Pixie Epoxy seems to have reduced that quite a bit this morning when I was applying. The color actually had something to stick to instead of just dropping off of my eye.
Though its only the second primer I have used, I do strongly recommend it. Feel free to chime in with your opinions on the best primers!
Ps- Aromaleigh has been closed so unfortunately no more options to buy from them...RIP Aromaleigh!

Repackaging...
If I purchase pigments from TKB Trading in bulk amounts and remix the colors and sell, is that considered repackaging? I haven't actually done this, but I'm just wondering what the guidelines are here in the pigments world.
If I specifically purchase bulk amounts of say.... MAC and intend to sell them in samples, is that considered repackaging?
